Each of our cottages has been lovingly restored from original Yorkshire stone. Expect roll-top baths, wood burners, crisp linen, locally roasted coffee, and enough peace and quiet that you can hear your own thoughts again. We only let a handful of properties — each one is your own private hideaway.
“The cottage is utterly magical. We arrived to fresh flowers, local bread and a lit wood burner. We did not want to leave.”
“Perfect base for walking the Cleveland Way. Kit is beautifully done — the bath with moor views is something else.”
“We brought our dog and she was treated like royalty. Thoughtful touches everywhere. Already re-booked for next year.”
We sit just outside the market town of Helmsley, gateway to the North York Moors National Park. From your door you can walk into ancient woodland, scramble up to Rievaulx Abbey, or follow the Cleveland Way across open heather.
