About Flour Power
It started with a bag of flour and a wooden spoon. Flour Power was founded by two friends who wanted to bring proper bread and honest cakes back to York — no shortcuts, no industrial mixes, just real ingredients and patience.
We bake everything from scratch, every single day, in our little unit just off The Shambles. Sourdough takes us 36 hours. Cinnamon rolls are proofed overnight. Birthday cakes get shaped, levelled and stacked by hand.
We're proud to use local flour, free-range eggs and real butter. No palm oil. No preservatives. Just bakes that taste the way they're supposed to.
