Terms & Conditions

1. Booking Policy

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
  • We require a valid email address and contact number for all reservations.
  • For parties of 6 or more, a deposit of £10 per person may be required to secure your booking.
  • Please arrive within 15 minutes of your booking time. Tables may be released after 15 minutes without notice.
  • We reserve the right to limit the duration of bookings during peak periods (typically 2 hours for dinner service).

2. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to receive a full refund of any deposit.
  • Cancellations within 24 hours of the booking may forfeit the deposit.
  • No-shows will forfeit the full deposit and may affect future booking privileges.

3. Allergens & Dietary Requirements

  • Whilst we take every care to accommodate dietary requirements, our kitchen handles all 14 major allergens.
  • We cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
  • It is your responsibility to inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements when booking and again upon arrival.
  • Our allergen information is available on our allergens page and from your server.
  • Menu items and ingredients may change without prior notice. Always confirm with staff before ordering.

4. Gift Vouchers

  • Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
  • Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Vouchers must be presented at the time of payment (digital or physical).
  • If the total bill exceeds the voucher value, the balance must be paid at the time of dining.
  • If the bill is less than the voucher value, the remaining balance will be noted for future use.
  • Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced.

5. Online Ordering

  • Online orders are subject to availability and kitchen capacity.
  • Estimated collection/delivery times are approximate and may vary during busy periods.
  • Payment is taken at the time of ordering. All prices include VAT.
  • Once an order is confirmed, amendments may not be possible. Please contact us immediately if you need to change your order.
  • We are not responsible for orders left uncollected beyond the stated collection time.
  • Delivery is available within a 3-mile radius of the restaurant, subject to availability.

6. Private Dining & Events

  • Private dining bookings require a non-refundable deposit of 50% at the time of booking.
  • Final guest numbers must be confirmed 7 days prior to the event.
  • Cancellations within 14 days of the event will forfeit the full deposit.
  • Menu choices must be submitted at least 5 days in advance.
  • Additional charges may apply for AV equipment, decorations, or extended hire.

7. Liability

  • Saffron Restaurant accepts no liability for loss or damage to personal property whilst on the premises.
  • We accept no liability for adverse reactions to food where allergen information has been provided and acknowledged.
  • Our liability for any claim shall not exceed the value of the services provided.
  • Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

8. General

  • We reserve the right to refuse service to any person and to ask guests to leave if their behaviour is disruptive.
  • These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
  • We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
