When you enter a competition, we collect your name, email address, and payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never see your full card details). We also collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, and device information for security and analytics.

How We Use It

We use your data to: process competition entries and payments, contact winners, send competition updates (with your consent), prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Data Retention

Competition entry data is retained for 12 months after the draw for audit purposes. Winner data is retained for 6 years for tax and legal compliance. You can request deletion of your data at any time, subject to our legal obligations.

You have the right to: access your personal data, rectify inaccurate data, request erasure, restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@winit.co.uk.
