We Live For The Night.

York Liveis an independent live entertainment venue and promoter in the heart of the city. Since opening our doors we've hosted thousands of artists — from Mercury Prize nominees and Edinburgh Fringe headliners to local openers looking for their first big stage.

We care about sound, sight-lines and atmosphere. Our 650-capacity room was built by engineers who tour with the best and designed by owners who grew up in sticky-floored music halls. We pour a properly-kept pint, we pay our artists fairly, and we genuinely love getting people through the door.
