Coming to your first yoga class can feel intimidating. It shouldn't. Here's everything you need to know before you walk through our door.
We offer every new student a complimentary first class. Just turn up — we'll sort you out with a mat and everything you need.
Start with our Beginners Yoga or Gentle Hatha. These move slower and the teacher breaks everything down.
Comfortable clothes you can move in. Leggings, a t-shirt, bare feet. That's it. You don't need special kit.
Give yourself time to settle, meet the teacher, and mention any injuries or pregnancy.
Every pose can be made easier or harder. If something hurts, stop. If you need to rest, rest. Your practice is yours.
The most important thing in yoga isn't the shape — it's the breath. Keep breathing and everything else follows.
