1. Our services

JL Advisory provides strategic and financial advisory services to UK businesses, including financial control, financial growth planning, and FD / board-level input. Engagements are agreed in writing on a case-by-case basis and set out the scope of work, fees and deliverables.

2. Not regulated financial advice

JL Advisory does not provide regulated financial advice. The content on this website and any general guidance we give should not be taken as personal financial advice. We strongly recommend seeking independent advice from a qualified and regulated adviser before making any final financial decision — particularly relating to tax, investment, pensions, insurance, or lending.

4. Engagement terms

If we agree to work together, a separate engagement letter will set out the specific terms, scope, fees and payment schedule for that engagement. Those terms take precedence over anything on this page.

All engagements are subject to our confidentiality obligations as set out in our Privacy Policy. Any information you share with us in the course of an engagement is treated as commercially confidential.

5. Fees & payment

Fees are agreed in writing before any work begins. Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are payable within 14 days. Late payment may be subject to interest in line with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

6. Intellectual property

The text, logos and content on this website are the property of JL Advisory and may not be reproduced without permission. Reports, plans and models prepared for you as part of an engagement remain JL Advisory’s intellectual property but you are granted a licence to use them for your own business purposes.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JL Advisory’s liability in respect of any engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, loss of business, or third-party claims. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

8. Governing law

These terms and any engagement between us are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
