When to call us

Severe toothache

Persistent pain that will not ease with over-the-counter painkillers.

Knocked-out tooth

Time is critical — we can often save a tooth if seen within an hour.

Broken or chipped tooth

Especially if painful or there is a sharp edge cutting your mouth.

Lost crown or filling

We can usually replace these the same day.

Swelling or abscess

Swelling in the mouth or face should always be seen urgently.

Bleeding that won’t stop

After an extraction or injury, we will help you manage it.

Out of hours

If you have an emergency outside our opening hours, please call NHS 111 or attend A&E if the situation is life-threatening (e.g. difficulty breathing or severe swelling affecting the throat).
