When to call us
Severe toothache
Persistent pain that will not ease with over-the-counter painkillers.
Knocked-out tooth
Time is critical — we can often save a tooth if seen within an hour.
Broken or chipped tooth
Especially if painful or there is a sharp edge cutting your mouth.
Lost crown or filling
We can usually replace these the same day.
Swelling or abscess
Swelling in the mouth or face should always be seen urgently.
Bleeding that won’t stop
After an extraction or injury, we will help you manage it.
Out of hours
If you have an emergency outside our opening hours, please call NHS 111 or attend A&E if the situation is life-threatening (e.g. difficulty breathing or severe swelling affecting the throat).
