Dales Property is an independent, ARLA Propertymark regulated lettings agency covering York, the Dales and the surrounding villages. We've been matching great tenants with brilliant landlords since 2012.
Our story
We started in a tiny upstairs office on Stonegate with a single filing cabinet and a belief that tenants and landlords both deserved better than the grim stereotype of letting agents.
12 years and 1,200+ successful tenancies later, we still operate on the same principles: answer the phone, tell the truth, fix things properly, treat everyone with respect.
Today we manage over 600 properties across York and the Dales, from student HMOs in Heslington to family homes in Bishopthorpe and countryside cottages near Helmsley.

18 years in York lettings. ARLA Propertymark qualified. Hannah founded the agency in 2012 and is still the person who answers the phone at 8am.
