SRA Transparency — Conveyancing

In accordance with Solicitors Regulation Authority transparency rules, our residential conveyancing fees comprise our legal fees, VAT at 20%, and disbursements including HM Land Registry fees (£20–£910 depending on value), search fees (approx. £250–£350), Stamp Duty Land Tax (calculated on purchase price), and bank transfer fee (£35). A full written quotation is provided before any work begins.

SRA Transparency — Probate

Our probate fees are typically fixed where the estate is straightforward. For more complex estates we may charge on a time-spent basis (hourly rates £180–£320 + VAT). Likely timescales: straightforward estate 6–9 months, complex estate 9–18 months. Disbursements include Probate Registry fee (£273) and Bankruptcy-only Land Charges search (£2 per beneficiary).
